Elizabeth Ann Scarberry

Elizabeth Ann Scarberry, 92, of Creston, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at OrrVilla Maple Terrace in Orrville after a period of declining health.

Elizabeth was born on Jan. 29, 1930 in Van Lear, KY to the late Samuel and Merinda (Walters) Williamson, and married Emery Scarberry on Dec. 22, 1946.  Emery preceded her in death on Jun 4, 2012.  She had been a member of the Triangle Baptist Church in Chippewa Lake and enjoyed reading her Bible.  Elizabeth loved crocheting and was crocheting until the last month of her life.

Surviving are her daughters, Karen Sue (Thomas) Arcy of Creston and Cathy June Irvin of Barberton; grandchildren, Brent (Jeannie) Irvin and Cheryl (Smitty) Porr; great-grandchildren, Kristyn (Gerald) Federan and Alicia Irvin; great great-granddaughters, Adelynne, Norah, Ellis and Riley and a sister, Kay Rucker of Germanton, OH.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brothers, Rudolph, Roger and Wallace and sisters, Ruby Meadows and Irene McCloud.

Services will be Friday, April 29th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
