Eli M. Miller , 73, of 1549 Harrison Road, Shreve, died Friday morning, May 5, 2017 at his home. He was born Feb. 14, 1944 in Holmes County, to the late Monroe J.S. and Annie D. (Miller) Miller and married Amanda D. Yoder on June 15, 1967. She preceded him in death on June 8, 2012. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church of where he was ordained Minister in 1985 and then Bishop in 1995. Surviving are children, Elsie Miller of the home and Duane (Marilyn) Miller of the home; 5 grandchildren; brothers, David (Clara) Miller and Wayne (Susan) Miller both of Millersburg, Jr. (Lovina) Miller of Benton and Paul (Betty) Miller of Baltic; sisters, Edna (Henry) Raber of Millersburg, Elizabeth (Dean) Yoder of Fredericksburg, Katie (Raymond) Troyer of Baltic, Esther (Paul) Beachy of Dundee and Dena (Norman) Stutzman of Baltic and a sister-in-law, Emma Miller of Millersburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, a stillborn daughter, his parents and a brother Josie Miller. Services will be Sunday, May 7th at 9:00 a.m. at the Duane Miller residence, 1551 Harrison Rd., Shreve with Bishop Wayne R. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery, Prairie Township. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
