Eli Troyer Jr

Eli Troyer JR, age 7, of 8231 Township Road 527, Shreve, died Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Akron Children’s Hospital from injuries sustained from an accident involving a motor vehicle and a pony-cart.

He was born March 21, 2013 in Holmes County to Eli and Edna Kay Troyer.  His parents are members of the Old Order Amish.

Surviving are his parents, Eli and Edna Kay; brothers, Nathan age 10, Norman age 8, Josiah age 4 and William age 1; grandparents, Milton and Fannie Troyer of Shreve and Bill and Erma Sue Troyer of Millersburg; a special uncle, aunt and family, Paul and Dorothy Troyer and children Lewis, Lori, Caleb and Sharon and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 19th at 9:00 a.m. at the family residence with Bishop Allen E. Miller officiating.  Burial will be in the Keim Cemetery in Ripley Township.  Friends may call anytime after 2:00 p.m. on Friday and all day on Saturday at the residence.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements. The family extends their sincere thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Children’s Hospital for the care and support given to the children and to them.
