Edna J. Miller

Edna J. Miller, 86, of 6900 S. Apple Creek Rd., Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019 at her home after a brief illness.

She was born March 23, 1932 in Beachville, Holmes County to the late Joe S.J> and Lydia (Chupp) Miller and married Roman A. Miller on Dec. 1, 1949. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2003. She was a member of the Old Order Amish.

Surviving are her children, Willis (Anna) Miller of Ligonier, IN, Lydia (Uriah) Hostetler of Fredonia, PA, Lizzie Ann (Menno) Miller of Middlefield, Clara (Andy) Hostetler of Holmesville, Vernon (Ada Mae) Miller of the home, Verna (Marion) Hershberger and Joe (Ada) Miller both of Holmesville, Roman Jr. (Sara Ann) Miller of Apple Creek and Edna (Dave) Miller of Fredericksburg; 62 Grandchildren, 113 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, an infant daughter, Barbara; a grandson, and infant grandson, brothers Ezra, Eli and Sam and sisters Barbara Hostetler and Anna Miller.

Services will be Saturday, Feb. 9that 9:00 a.m. at the Miller Residence with Bishop Freeman Troyer officiating. Burial will be in Troyer Cemetery, Salt Creek Twp., Wayne Co. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
