Ed Schrader

Eddie Eugene Schrader, 86 of Wooster, passed on Friday, August. 31, 2018.

He was born on May 25, 1932 and was preceded in death by his life partner, Dr. Daniel Rider in 2014. One of sixteen children, he is survived by his sisters, Noreen Payne, Louella Ranz and Sarah Kellar; his children Stephen Schrader of South Boardman Mi., Phil & Lori Schrader of Wooster and Kathy & Bryant Smith of Wooster; twenty grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Ed served in the Air Force before earning his Bachelors Degree at Tennessee Tech. He then went on to earn his Masters Degree at the University of Akron. Ed worked in Michigan, Ohio and California as an agriculture extension agent and as a 4H advisor. He also was a farmer, Inn Keeper and a Antique proprietor. The Fine Arts was dominate throughout his life, always enjoying Wooster Chamber music and forever searching for that perfect antique.

Memorial services will be Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Wayne County, 3186 Burbank Rd., Wooster with V. Elaine Strawn officiating.
