Donna Marie Patterson

Donna Marie Patterson, 86, of Orrville and formerly of Marshallville, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021 after a period of declining health.

Donna was born on April 2, 1935 in Marion, OH to the late Glen and Cecelia (Giet) Beichler and attended Smithville High School.  She married Gerald E. Patterson on April 3, 1954 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 19,  2012.  Donna had worked at Orrville Leather and at Sam’s Pizza and had made her home in Marshallville most of her life.  She enjoyed playing Bingo and corn hole and she loved watching the Cleveland Indians.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, Donita (Robert) Turner, Patty (Harvey) Beltz, Jan (Rick) Zacharias, Terry (Phil) Chupp and Diane (Roger) Ellis all of Orrville and  Ken (Blossom) Patterson and Mark (Patience) Patterson both of  Marshallville; daughter-in-law, Linda Patterson of Wooster; 17 grandchildren, Andy Yoho,  Scott Yoho, Dawn Cahill, Tracie Leiendecker, Jamie Oquin,  Megan Domer, Jerry Patterson, Kristen Nussbaum, Dana Kennedy, Aliza Gill, Roger Ellis, Michael Ellis, Tony Patterson, Zach Patterson, Tyler Patterson, Ashley Patterson and Hanna Patterson; 28 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; a son, Gerald "Jerry" Patterson, Jr., her parents and brothers, Donald. Robert and Carl Beichler
