Donna June Cochrell

Donna June Cochrell, 95, of Creston, went home to be with God on Friday, Dec. 23, 2022 at Smithville-Western Care Center after a period of declining health.

Donna was born on Oct. 25, 1927 in Burbank to Charles W. and Isa (Yost) Aukerman and was a 1945 graduate of Burbank High School.  She had worked as an underwriter for 37 years at Westfield Insurance Company and had made her home in Creston since 1953.  She was a faithful member of the Creston Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her church family and several cousins.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, Dec. 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Burbank Cemetery with Pastor Mike Van Arsdale officiating.  At Donna’s request, there will be no calling hours.  Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
