Donald Ray "Hosey" Hostetler

Donald Ray "Hosey" Hostetler, 79, of Creston, passed away at home on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022.

Donnie was born on May 24, 1942 in Lodi to the late James and Mary (Blatti) Hostetler and served in the U.S. Army from 1960 – 1963 and 1964 – 1967. He retired from Medina Paper Recycling and had made his home in Creston all of his life.  He was a member of Creston Moose Lodge 1224 where he had many friends that loved him.

Surviving are his son, George; a grandson, Billy; brothers, Larry (Elaine) Hostetler, Tim (BJ) Bible and Jim Bible;  sisters, Carol Daugherty and Vickie Fortney and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Bible; his father, James Hostetler and a brother, James Hostetler.

Friends may call Wednesday, March 2nd from 5-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.  Interment with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, March 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Please meet at the funeral  home  at 12:30 p.m. to proceed to the cemetery.
