Donald W. Frybarger

Donald Wayne Frybarger 80 of Wooster, died peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019 at Brookdale Wooster after a lengthy illness.

Donald was born Aug. 29, 1938 in Delta, OH the son of Wayne and Charlotte (Martineux) Frybarger and married Elois (Marcum) Frybarger on March 1, 1996.

Don served in the U.S. Army and was proud of his service to his Country. He worked for five years for the Ohio State Patrol and then worked as a Safety Director in the Bulk Tank Trucking Industry. Don was a leader and an influential voice for safety and regulation in the National Tank Truck Carriers Association where he was National Chairman for 3 years.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Elois, his children; Dan (Becky) Frybarger of Burbank and Tom Frybarger of Millersburg; Grandchildren; Justin, Dylan, Brooke and Carsyn; Step-sons, Rory (Linda) Reed and Steven Reed both of Wooster, Tony (Deb) Reed and Dave (Starr) Reed both of Orrville, Step-grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Sarah, Steven, Crystal, Christi, Jeannae, Nichole, Tyler, Larry, Aaron, Anna, James and Sarah; many step-great-grandchildren; Sisters; Carole Watkins of Carrollton, Sue (Gene) Gillen of Wauseon, Patricia (Allen) Bratschun, of Ft Collins, CO, Robert (Sandra) Frybarger, Oak Point, TX and many nieces and nephews.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother in law, Jerry Watkins.

Services will be Monday, March 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home, Creston with Pastors Mark McCord and Wendell Sinclair officiating. Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Monday.
