Donald Eugene Church, 77, of Lodi, passed away at home on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024 after a battle with cancer.

Donald was born on Oct. 5, 1947 in Louisa, KY to Arthur and Hazel (Lautzenheiser) Church and was a graduate of Cloverleaf High School.  On Feb. 23, 1974 he married Susan Renee Worley and she survives.  He retired from Owens Corning in 2017 after 40 years and had made his home in Lodi most of his life.  Donald loved working and rebuilding cars ad he was a good carpenter.

Surviving are his wife, Susan; sons and daughters-in-laws, Steven Church of Lodi, Nicholas and Rebecca Church of Creston and Nathan and Ashley Church of Creston; 8 grandsons and a granddaughter, Colin, Andrew, Mason, Cameron, Derek, Aden, Austin, Nevin and Evelyn; sisters, Joyce and Francis Bent of Danville, IL, Hazel and Bruce Grier of Lodi, Brenda and Bookie Baughman of Glenmont and Sandy and Adam Holzmiller of Smithville; a brother, Carl Church of Orrville and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an uncle, Ot Church and brothers, Larry, Gary and Eddie.

Services will be Saturday, Dec. 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services at 2:00 p.m.
