Don Uhler

Donnie Ray “Don” Uhler, 72, of Spring City, TN and formerly of Creston passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center following a period of declining health.

Don was born Dec. 29, 1946 in Wadsworth to the late Ray Jr. and Donna (Hickman) Uhler and was a 1964 graduate of Norwayne High School.  Don was a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything but when he retired, he was a painter of big machinery.  The one thing that he absolutely loved to do was go fishing.  He enjoyed sitting for hours on a boat or on a pier with his fishing pole in the water.

Don is survived by his son Jon Jay Uhler of Florida, his twin brother Dan (Rita) Uhler of Spring City, sister, Sandy Siers of Orrville, brothers Wayne (Pam) Uhler of Fredericksburg, and Mark (Helen) Uhler of Creston, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct. 26th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.  Burial will follow at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
