Obituary
Dianna Kay Furman, 69, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019 at Smithville Western Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Dianna was born March 14, 1949 in Louisa, KY to the late Bascom “Ted” and Greta “Mickey” (Boyce) Dean and had worked as a shipping clerk at Plasti-Kote for many years. She was a member of the Rittman Community Freewill Baptist Church and had enjoyed crocheting, decorating and music and dancing. She loved to collect dolphins and wind chimes.
Surviving are her four children, Jim Lambert of Rittman, Bryan (Samantha) Lambert of Wooster, Derek (Renee) Harvey of Orrville and Brooke (Kenny) Harvey of Atwood Lake; grandchildren, Hailey Lambert, Bradyn Raber, Hayden Harvey, Breanna Harvey and Isabelle Lambert; her brothers and sister, Nona Faye Dean of Wadsworth, Walter “Butch” (Susan) Dean of Rittman, Brenda (Bill) Metheney of Creston, Ernest (Mark) Dean of Akron, Jay “Bud” (Connie) Dean of Sterling and Carl Dean of Wadsworth and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be Friday, Feb. 15that 5:00 p.m. at Rittman Community Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor John Castle officiating. Friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. Burial will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.
