Diana Jean Maxwell

Diana Jean Maxwell, 72, of Creston, passed away at home on Saturday, July 10, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family after a brief illness.

Diane was born on July 25, 1948 in Mansfield to the late John T. and Phyllis (Shuman) Kaufman and had made her home in the Creston area most of her life.  She had worked until recently at Carlisle Brake & Friction in Medina where she had 25 years of service.  Diana loved to work, play games on the computer and her lottery tickets. Her greatest enjoyment was caring for her family and she will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her daughter, Angela Penrod; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward (Violet) Kaufman; sisters, Joyce Johnson and Carolyn (Brian) Hoagland and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Marvin Maxwell on July 12, 2006, her daughter, Valerie Boyd on May 20, 2016, her father, John Kaufman, her mother and step-father, Phyllis and Myron Neibert and a brother, Charles Kaufman.
