Debra Lynn McClure, 72, of Lodi, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic Medina. Debbie was born on Feb. 4, 1952, in Morgantown, WV, to Berl Gene “Red” and Evelyn P. (Adams) Moore. She was a 1970 graduate of Cloverleaf High School and later graduated from Lorain Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She dedicated her career to caring for others, working at the Pythian Sisters Home and Elmcroft of Medina. Debbie made her home in Lodi since 1984. She had a passion for baking, sewing, quilting, cross-stitching, crafting countless treasures for her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Douglas L. McClure; her daughter, Cassandra McClure of Lodi; her son, Steven McClure (Gabriel) of Portage Lakes; her mother, Evelyn Moore of Medina; her siblings, Barbara Moore of Seville, Wayne (Becky) Moore of Creston, and Lorne (Jeanette) Moore of Columbus. Debbie is also survived by her in-laws, Sandy (Ben) Swank, Gary McClure, Sue McClure, Cheryl (Bob) Carlisle, Rose (John) Dixon, and Cristine Butcher; numerous nieces, nephews, and grand fur babies: dogs Layla and Brodie, and cats Jack and Sweet Pea. She was preceded in death by her father, Berl “Red” Moore, and her in-laws, William F. and Betty McClure. A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at a later date.
