Deborah Doris “Debbie” Hoxworth, 69, of Millersburg, passed away on Sunday, Aug 23, 2026 at Aultman Hospital in Canton after a sudden illness.

Debbie was born on Dec. 29, 1956 to Norval “Toad” and Geraldine “Dee Dee” (Duncan) Dawson and was blessed to have Carl Sinnett be her Dad. She was a 1975 graduate of West Holmes High School and enjoyed her monthly “Girls Night Out” with her classmates. In 1974 she was the Millersburg Antique Queen which she was always proud of. On Oct. 11, 1985 she married Allen Lloyd Hoxworth and they shared 41 wonderful years together. Debbie had worked at Seaman Corp. and was an Administrative Assistant at Premiere Dance Academy before starting her own business, Flowers By Deb over 10 years ago. She was a member of Millersburg Christian Church where she enjoyed her ladies lunch group and enjoyed laying by the pool and spending time with her grandkids.

Surviving is her husband, Allen; her 3 children and their spouses, Brandon “Brandi” and Tony Stevens of Bowerston, Brock and Misty Eiler of Killbuck and Breanna and Kyle Maurer of Shreve; 9 grandchildren, Zack, Devon, Riley, Marcus and Taylor Stevens, Seth Robinson, Kamri Higdon and Remington and Riverlynn Maurer; 13 great-grandchildren; her mother, Dee Dee Sinnett of Millersburg; sister, Sharee and her husband Eric Miller of Millersburg; her mother-in-law, Norma Jean Hoxworth of Millersburg; sister-in-law, Denise Shull of Baltic; brother-in-law, David and his wife Teresa Hoxworth of Millersburg and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Dad, Carl Sinnett; father, Toad; and a brother, Russell “Rusty” Dawson.

Services will be Saturday, Aug. 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Millersburg Christian Church with Pastor Wes McElravy officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the church. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
