David J. Hershberger

David J. Hershberger, 72, of Orrville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020 at Aultman Hospital in Canton after a brief illness.

Dave was born May 26, 1948 in Wooster to the late John and Virginia (Sears) Hershberger and was a 1966 graduate of Orrville High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 – 1972 and was proud of his service to his country.  He enjoyed his retirement years and he loved spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Bambi Catrone Hershberger who he married on May 26, 1973; his son, John David Hershberger of Orrville; his grandson, Alex; brothers, Mike Hershberger and Roger Hershberger both of Wooster and Jeff (Becky) Hershberger of Orrville; a sister, Denise (Alan) North of Jeromesville; his father-in-law, John Catrone  of Orrville, sisters-in-law, Sue (Marion) Gingerich of Apple Creek and Beth (Russell) Hershey of Wooster and nieces and nephews.

A brother, Larry Hershberger died previously.
