David Allen Bauer

David Allan “Dave” Bauer, 71, of Creston, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Dave was born on February 26, 1955, in Barberton, Ohio to Albert and Irene (Wilson) Bauer and was a 1974 graduate of Barberton High School. On May 10, 1986, he married Dawn Fekete and they shared over 40 years together. Dave had worked for over 22 years at Nabisco and had retired from Rohrer. Dave enjoyed being outdoors, tending to his garden, doing lawn work, scrapping, walking his dog Milo, and he loved being able to spend time with his grandchildren and family.

Dave is survived by his wife, Dawn; daughters, Jessica (Terry) Bauer and Rachel (Brandon) Bauer; grandchildren, Grant, Owen, Warren, Martin, Barrett, and Stanley; brother, Albert Bauer; niece, Jennifer Mondl; nephew, Adam Mondl; and his dog Milo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Bauer and his sister, Cathy Mondl.

A family celebration will be held at a later date.
