Danny Moss

Daniel Lee “Danny” Moss Sr., 69, of Wooster, passed away at home on Monday, June 22, 2026, after a brief illness with cancer and a broken heart from losing his beloved Rosalee three months ago.

Danny was born on Aug. 20, 1956, in Medina to Jesse and Carolyn (Scott) Moss and married Rosalee Grace Ware on June 6, 1978. She preceded him in death on March 24, 2026. He had served in the U.S. Navy and had worked as a mechanic and also was the Manager of 300 Tire in Wooster. Danny loved working on cars, tinkering and was a wonderful handy man who could build and fix just about anything. He also enjoyed the outdoors and hunting.

 Surviving is his daughter, Jeanne Hillyer; son, Daniel Moss II, his 6 grandchildren, Tiffany Ziegler, Dakota Madrill, Maverick Moss, Tildenrose Moss, Hunter Moss and Hailee Moss; great-grandchildren, Kolton Hillyer, Kowen Hillyer, Destiney Ziegler, Carter Madrill and Harper Rose Madrill; brothers, Willard, William and Dale Moss and sisters, Wilda Jean Isenhart, Doris Moss and Linda Husk.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalee, his parents, a sister, Kathy Wheeler and a great-granddaughter, Winslee Grace Hillyer.

Friends may call on Saturday, June 27th from 2-4 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. In lieu of flowers, contributions may to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
