Danny Ray Hinkle

Danny Ray Hinkle, 66, of Shreve, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.

Danny was born in Columbus on April 18, 1957 to Russel and Flora (Osborne) Hinkle and served in the U.S. Army from 1974-1975.  He was a member of the American Legion and had enjoyed fishing and camping.

Surviving are his children, Daniel (Devon Roberts) Schmidt, Traci (Raymond) Ponder and Lisa King; grandchildren, Anthony, Breanna and Jayden; a brother, Donald (Priscilla) Hinkle; a sister, Mary Hinkle and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Hinkle.

Services will be Wednesday, Feb. 21st at 12:30 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Friends may call from 11:00-12:30 at the funeral home.
