Cooper Jay Dye, 31 of Wooster, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at The Cleveland Clinic after a lengthy battle with failing health. Cooper was born in Canton on Feb. 6, 1992 to Keith and Tammy (Efaw) Dye and graduated from Dalton High School and the Wayne County Career Center in 2011.  On Oct. 22, 2022 he married Cassandra Sillman and she survives. Cooper resided in Dalton most of his life and enjoyed hunting, farming, working on  cars and going to the races. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Cassie and her children Madison and Connor; his parents, Keith and Tammy Dye; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chad and Ashley Dye, Charles and Ashley Efaw, Dwayne Efaw and Shannon Dye and several nieces, nephews, aunt and uncles.  He joined his three infant daughters and his grandparents in heaven. Services will be Tuesday, March 7th at 1:00 pm at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with Pastor Darrell Ediger officiating. Burial will be in Fredericksburg East Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Contributions may be made to Murray Funeral Home, PO Box 183, Fredericksburg 44627 for final expenses.
