Connie Ann Green, 51, of Fredericksburg, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 18, 2018 with family and friends around her after a brief battle with cancer.

Connie was born Dec. 11, 1966 in Orrville to James M. and Mary Lou (Mackey) Wade and was a 1985 graduate of Waynedale High School. On June 18, 1994 she married Douglas K. Green and he survives. Connie loved working as a secretary at Kingsway Christian School and was a member of West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and caring for family and friends. Always busy with her kids, Connie was always helping anyone in need.

Surviving are her husband, Doug; children, Joshua (Ashley) Leiner of Wooster, Jordan (Jami Gopp) Leiner of Toledo, Alexander Green, Rebecca Green and Madelyn Green all of the home; Connie raised numerous foster children including Alicia (Stephen) Nierste of Canton whom she raised as her own; grandchildren, Jaycee and Jaeger Leiner; her parents, Jim and Mary Lou Wade of Apple Creek; brothers, Michael (Jo) Wade of Hayesville, Martin (Mary Ellen) Wade of Gainesville, VA and Matthew (Glenda) Wade of Wooster and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday, May 22ndat 11:00 a.m. at West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster with Pastor Mark Davenport officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery near Wooster. Friends may call Monday from 4-7 p.m. at West Hill Baptist Church and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
