Clyde Edward Rickey

Clyde Edward Rickey, 82, of Creston, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Meadowview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Seville after a period of declining health.

Clyde was born June 11, 1937 in Fort Gay, WV and was the son of the late Herbert and Sarah “Sally” (Lloyd) Rickey.  Clyde served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 – 1958 and retired from Dart Transit.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Mary Pelfrey and Ruth Richmond, Clyde is survived by his brothers, Robert Darrell (Virginia) Rickey, Larry (Karen) Rickey and Roger (Brenda) Rickey and nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday, March 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Travis McKenzie officiating.  Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour prior to services on Monday.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
