ClarMonna Klinect, 83, of Lodi, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016 at Akron General Medical Center following a 6 month illness. ClarMonna was born Aug. 22, 1933 in River Styx to the late Robert and Roberta (Campbell) Long and married James “Hoot” Klinect on Feb. 5, 1955. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2016. She was a graduate of Wadsworth High School and retired in 1995 from Westfield Companies after 43 years of service. ClarMonna was a member of the Westfield Grandmother’s Club and the Creston Senior Citizens. She enjoyed traveling and camping but her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her sons, Bret and his wife Laurie Klinect of Westfield Twp. and Bart Klinect of Creston; her 3 grandchildren Matthew and Katie Klinect, Katie and Emerson Marshall and Sara Klinect and fiance,Matt Calvey and her 6 great-grandchildren, Kora and Quinn Klinect, Ethan, Eleanor and Bear Marshall and Olive Calvey. Also surviving are a step-daughter, Frances Albrecht of Seville; two step-grandchildren, Stacy Albrecht and Brian Albrecht; sisters, Judy Jellison, Fran Edmonds and Jane Young all of the The Villages, FL; Susan (Larry) Kunkle of Canal Fulton and Beth Long of Akron and a brother, Jeff (Linda) Long of Zanesville and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother, Jim Long. Friends may call Saturday from 4-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston. A graveside service for family and close friends will be Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Burbank Cemetery with Pastor Ed Kropa officiating. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
