Christopher Lee Phillips

Christopher Lee Phillips, age 59, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2025.  Born March 24, 1966 in Orrville, OH to Judith Ann White and Billy H. Phillips, both surviving.

Chris is survived by partner Diana Tope, his four sisters Judy (Rich) Beckett of MO, Rain (Charlie) Duskey of Orrville, Lorna Duskey of Dalton, and Mariah (Ken) Dawson of Canton, 2 daughters April (Troy) Ray of Wooster and Amber (Ben) Collins of Shreve, plus 2 grandsons Devyn Ray and Axl Collins .  Of special note Uncle James Pelfrey Sr. of Warsaw and Jimmy Pelfrey also of Warsaw and the entire Cat Force One family.

He was a US Navy Veteran, he had worked at Orrville Trucking and Grading, AM Trucking, and Petty’s Marine.  Chris had many diverse passions in his life (e.g. hunting, trapping, bull riding, fishing on the river) but mostly spending time with family, especially his two grandsons.

Chris passed after a long period of declining health in his home surrounded by family.

Per Chris’ wishes, he will be cremated by Murray Funeral Home.  There will be no funeral service, however there will be a celebration of life held at 9501 Benner Road, Rittman, OH at a later date.
