Cheryl Ann Mohler

THE CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be on Saturday,  May 3, 2025 at the Word of Mouth BBQ, 15004 Portage St., Doylestown, OH from 4 - 8 p.m.

Cheryl Ann Mohler, 77, of Sterling, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic.  She had been waiting to be reunited with her loving husband, Larry, and they are together again.

Cheryl was born on May 3, 1947 in Wadsworth to Armin and Orline (Grill) Pease and was a 1965 graduate of Wadsworth High School.  On July 31, 1965 she married Howard “Larry” Mohler and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2022.  Cheryl had made her home in Sterling for the past 50 years and was a member of the Sterling United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafting cards and traveling but her greatest love was being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her children, Christine Sweigert, Michael Scot Mohler and Lisa Ann and her husband Troy Andrukat; her grandchildren; Alexandra Sweigert, Nicholas Sweigert, Mackenzie (Jay) Torres, Seth Hunt, Maddie Mohler, Jared Andrukat, Emily Andrukat, Logan Andrukat and Gavin Andrukat; her great-grandson, Jace Sweigert and her beloved dog, Sugar.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents, Armin and Orline and her aunt and uncle, Marian King and Clair Grill.

A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be on Saturday,  May 3, 2025 at the Word of Mouth BBQ, 15004 Portage St., Doylestown, OH from 4 - 8 p.m.   A family burial services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to One of a Kind Pet Rescue, 1929 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44313 or to any animal shelter in Cheryl’s memory.
