Charles Alan Roberts

Charles Alan “Chuck” Roberts, 64, of Dalton, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster after a battle with cancer and is now safe with the Lord. Chuck was born in Zanesville on May 18, 1957 and was the son of the late Wendell and Helen (Morton) Roberts.  On March 3, 1989 he married Deborah Greegor Venables and she survives.  He had worked at Bekaert Corp.  in Orrville and had previously worked for various construction companies.  Chuck loved to golf and he enjoyed hunting and mushroom hunting but his family and his grandson brought him the greatest enjoyment. Surviving are his wife, Debbie, his children, Jeremy (Missy) Venables of Brewster, Christina Venables of Navarre and Travis (Marina) Roberts of Wooster; his grandson, Jaxon Roberts and his brothers and sister, Randy (Susan) Roberts of Pensacola, FL, Terry (Tammy) Roberts of Inverness, FL and Elaine  Burdge of Leesburg, FL. Services will be Saturday, Jan. 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with his brother, Pastor Terry Roberts officiating.  Burial will be in the Fredericksburg East Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Tributes may be shar ed at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
