Charles Bennett Brewster

Charles Bennett Brewster, Sr., 74, of Wooster, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 after a period of declining health.

He was born on July 4, 1950 to Frank and Pauline Brewster and served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1972 having served in Vietnam.  On June 1, 1974 he married Shirley J. Maxwell and they were blessed with sons, Charles Jr. and Adam.  Shirley preceded him in death on Feb. 25, 2005.  On May 16, 2009 he married Theresa Kleja and she also preceded him in death on May 5, 2013.  Chuck retired from Ford Motor Co. after 30 years having worked at Engine Plant 1 in Brook Park.  He had made his home in Seville for 20 years prior to moving to Wooster and was a past member of the Seville-Guilford Fire Dept. Chuck loved motorcycles and his truck and enjoyed drawing.

Surviving are his 2 sons, Charles Brewster, Jr. of Wooster and Adam Brewster and Sami LaBo of Creston; grandchildren, Jillian, Jacob, McKenna and Peyttin Brewster and Lexi and Kaleb LaBo and a sister, Carol and her husband David Rizzo of Medina.

Services will be Monday, May 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Rev. David Zammert officiating.  Burial will be in Seville Mound Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call Sunday, from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
