Catherine M. (Andre) Heidinger

Catherine M. Heidinger, 64, of Creston, went home to be with the Lord on  Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Akron General Medical Center.

Cathy was born Jan. 7, 1957 in Cleveland to the late William and Agnes (Fink) Andre and was a graduate of Lakewood High School.  On May 25, 1976 she married Roland F. Heidinger and he survives.  Cathy had enjoyed working at Dr. Lin’s office in Medina and at the Society for Handicapped Citizens.  She had made her home in the Lodi and Creston area for the past 35 years and enjoyed crocheting and spoiling her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, Roland, children and their spouses, Stephanie and Shawn Garnes of Burbank, Michael and Angela Heidinger of Rittman and Jordan and Monica Stuart of Chippewa Lake; grandchildren, Dylan, Cameron, Ian and William Garnes, Alexis, Michael and Daniel Heidinger and Jordan Stuart; brothers and sisters, William Andre, Mary Ann Ritz, Paul Andre, Betty Ashbaugh and Cheryl Menefee, Mike Andre and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Harold and a sister, Teresa Bowen.

Friends may call Tuesday, April 6th from 4-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where services will be held at 7:00 p.m.   Burial will be at a later date in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorial contributes may be made to the family.
