Carol Ann (Saunders) Ellis

Carol Ann Ellis (Saunders) of Sterling OH, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2020 while at home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Carol was born on Oct. 24, 1943 in Claremont, NH to the late Edward and Mabel (Strong) Saunders.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 39 years, Larry W. Ellis.

Carol is survived by her sister, Janice Saunders (Al Miller), brothers, Bill and Mike, her 2 loving sons, Forrest (Jenice) Ellis of Sterling, OH and Gary (Karen) Ellis of Portland, OR, her grandchildren, Matthew, Christina, Robert and Crystal and 6 great-grandchildren.

Carol moved from New Hampshire to Southern California where she graduated from Whittier High School in 1961.  There she met her life long love, Larry W. Ellis and they were married in 1961 and raised 2 fine boys.  Carol worked in children care and as a bookkeeper for various businesses.  In her later years she also worked as a nurse’s aide. Carol was an eleven year resident of Sterling having moved from Las Vegas with her son, Forrest.

Following her wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be no services.  Celebration of her life will be held at a future date.  In lieu of flowers, please make donation to the Alzheimer’s’ Assoc.
