Carol Jane Miller

Carol Jane Miller, 66, of Apple Creek, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

Carol was born in Wooster on Dec. 4, 1957 and was raised by her grandmother, Nancy Finley.  She was blessed in her youth to be mentored by the late Dorothea Bowers Hinkle who she never forgot.  On July 16, 1974 she married the love of her life, Ricky L. Miller and together they made a wonderful life together.  For 35 years, Carol was the backbone of CJ Miller and Sons and while always behind the scenes, Carol was the one that kept the business running smoothly.  She had also been a route driver for the Wooster Daily Record for several years.

Carol was a woman of great faith who loved people and enjoyed going out to eat.  Wherever she went, whether it was at Walmart or the bank, she loved visiting with people.  Her family and her dogs meant the world to her and she enjoyed doing crafts and making wreaths.

Carol will be greatly missed by her husband, Rick of nearly 50 years; sons, Ricky L. Miller Jr. and Jeremy A. Miller and Brooke who was very dear and special to Carol as well as her beloved dog, Flyer.  Carol also is survived by a sister, Sally Nicholson.
