Carol F. Haven

Carol F. Haven, 85, of Orrville, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Aultman Orrville Hospital after a brief illness.

Carol was on April 22, 1941, in Fredericksburg to Charles and Emma (Hains) Duncan. In 1991 she married Lloyd “Tom” Haven and he preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 2006. Carol had worked as a nurse’s aide at several nursing homes and enjoyed playing Bingo whenever she could. She was a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, enjoyed family gatherings and cook-outs and enjoyed her birds and dogs.

Surviving are her stepchildren, Joy and her husband Jeremy Lyons, Laura Haven and Thomas Haven; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Duncan and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, and brothers and sisters, her twin, Carl, Ruth, Paul, Evelyn, Bill, Marjorie, Earl and Kenneth.

Friends may call Wednesday, Aug. 26th from 5-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg where a brief service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
