Carol Ann (Baker) Jarvis

Carol Ann Jarvis, 83, of Creston passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Burbank Parke Care Center.

Carol was born in Seville on June 7, 1939 to Henry J. and Una May (Parks) Baker and was a 1957 graduate of Seville High School.  On June 7, 1957 she married Jarrell “Jerry” Jarvis and he preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2014. Carol retired from Westfield Companies and had made her home in Seville and Creston all of her life.  She was a member of Seville First Baptist Church and had attended Canaan Freewill Baptist Church.  She was active in the Seville Community and was a member of the Cloverleaf Mothers Singers and the Couples Club in Seville.  She was Tole painter having painted many craft items and had enjoyed music and playing the organ.  She and Jerry enjoyed Ballroom Dancing and they are both enjoying Heaven’s music together.

Surviving are her children, Lucinda “Cindy” and Greg Eby of Lodi, Randy and Tina Jarvis of Creston and Brent and Audrey Jarvis of Creston; 5 grandchildren, Heath (Sarah) Eby, Kayla (Russ Hinds) Jarvis, Josh (Melanie) Jarvis, Aubrey Jarvis and Wyatt Jarvis; two great-grandchildren, Blake Hinds and Zachary Jarvis and a brother, Duane Baker of Lodi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; her parents, brothers, Harold “Sonny” and Gene Baker and a sister, Martha Edwards.

Services will be Wednesday, March 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services.  Burial will be in Seville Mound Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
