Carl Ray Duncan, Sr.

Carl Ray Duncan, Sr., 81, of Orrville, died Sunday, June 26, 2022 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster after a brief period of declining health.

Carl was born in Fredericksburg on April 22, 1941 to Charles and Emma (Hains) Duncan.  He had been an area resident all of his life and had been a truck driver.  Carl loved stock car and mini car racing having enjoyed racing at Lakeville and Millersburg.  He loved watching NASCAR and he enjoyed fishing.

Surviving are children, Charlie Duncan, Carl Duncan Jr., Allen McIntire, Carla McIntire, Jennifer Duncan, Glen Duncan, Karl Duncan and Tommy Duncan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his twin sister, Carol Haven; brothers, Harold Duncan and Kenneth Duncan and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Summerville, Marjorie Dawson, and Evelyn Edwards and brothers, Paul, Charles “Bill” and Earl Duncan.

Services will be Thursday, June 30th at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with Pastor Steve Bixler officiating.  Friends may call from 12:00 until time of services at the funeral home.
