Bruce Alan Shelly

Bruce Alan Shelly, 65, of Rittman passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday July 16, 2024.

Bruce was born in Wadsworth, OH on May 29, 1959, to Raymond and Elizabeth (Frase) Shelly. Bruce worked at Sandridge Crafted Foods for 42 years retiring as a supervisor. On July 14, 2011, Bruce married Jean Baker and they had spent the past 13 years together making their home in Rittman. In his free time Bruce enjoyed boating, going camping, fishing, shopping, and guns. He also enjoyed his time working with the young men at the C-8 foundation.

Surviving is his wife, Jean; children John (John) Baker of Canton, Tabetha (Reginal) Wilson of South Carolina, Jessica (Brandon) Woods of Minnesota, and Teresa (Scott) White of Creston; grandchildren Kali White and Avery, Avander, and Aaralyn Woods; mother Elizabeth Shelly of Wooster; brother Keith (Shari) Shelly of Wooster; nephew Ryan Shelly, and his furry companion Winnie.

He is preceded in death by his father Raymond Shelly.

Services will be on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Jeremy Stasiowski officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Murray Funeral Home, PO Box 25, Creston, OH 44217 to help with Bruce’s final expenses.
