Brian Charles Lautzenhiser

Brian C. Lautzenhiser, 48, of Wooster, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Akron City Hospital after a 4 day illness.

Brian was born on Nov. 30, 1976 in Wooster to James A and Marla K. (Justice) Lautzenhiser and was a 1995 graduate of Wooster High School.  He attended Wayne College and Akron University where he received an Associates Degree in Business and also attended National College.  Brian worked for Buehlers in Wooster for 25 years and for the past 2 years worked at the Wooster Brush.  He attended Grace Church in Wooster and was an avid golfer and bowler at Triway Lanes for the past 19 years.  He loved sports and car racing and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, Guardians and Cavs, the Ohio State Buckeyes and Indi Car Racing and NASCAR.  Brian was always kind and gentle with a smile that lit up the room and he will be missed by many, especially his three great-nieces.

Surviving are his loving parents, Jim and Marla of Wooster; his sister, Tina Sprowls of Wooster; niece and nephews, Tasha Sprowls, Travis Sprowls and Jared Sprowls; his three-great-nieces, Renee, Brynn and Amina and aunts, uncles and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Lautzenhiser in 2009.

Services will be Saturday, April 5th at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Church in Wooster with Pastor Randy Moomaw officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
