Brian David Barton

Brian David Barton, 57, of Rittman, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 at his home after a sudden illness.

Brian was born Dec. 23, 1960 in Marion, IN to Charles and Betty (Turner) Barton and was a graduate of Wadsworth High School. He married Kimberly Gammell on Oct. 3,2010 and he had made his home in Creston prior to moving to Rittman. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.

Surviving are his wife, Kim; children, Michael (Colleen) Barton and Anita (Madison) Davis both of Ravenna and Erica Barton of Canton; step-children, Michael (Chelsea) Manchak of Wooster and Kelli (Jeremy) Steiner of Ashland; grandchildren, Ronan, Philip, Madison Sara, Avery, Corra and Mikey; step-grandchildren, Brokk and Remmy; his mother, Betty Fitzgerald of Florida and sisters, Debbie (Roger) Golden of Florida and Cindy (Stan) Robbins of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Kevin.
