Brenda Ann Moyer

Brenda Ann Moyer, 68, of Rittman, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at Medina Hospital.

Brenda was born April 28, 1952 in Akron to the late William and Arbelle (McCallister) Martin and was a 1970 graduate of Mogadore High School.  On March 14, 1970 she married Glenn William Moyer Sr. and he survives.  Brenda had been a sign language interpreter at Shreve and Smithville School for 19 years and later worked in the deli at Buehler’s in Wooster until retiring.  Brenda’s children and grandchildren were the light of her life and she always called them “her angels”.  She loved animals and loved to shop but more than anything she just loved being around her family.  She will be remembered for her laugh that was contagious and for never having met a stranger.  Brenda would do anything for anyone and she truly had a heart of gold.

She leaves behind her husband, Glenn of almost  51 years; her daughter, Tara M. Moyer of Rittman and son and daughter-in-law, Glenn Jr. and Jennifer Moyer of Creston; five grandchildren, Kyle (Sarah) Hinton, Nick Hinton, Brooke Hinton, Logan Moyer and Mason Moyer and nieces, nephews and cousins including her special cousin, Marsha Sword.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Gloria Perdue and a brother, Billie Martin.

Friends may call Saturday, Feb. 13th from 2-4 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where Pastor Bud Olszewski will conduct services at 4:00 p.m.   Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in care of the funeral home to help with medical and final expenses.
