Brenda Sue (Cowger) Myers

Brenda Sue Myers, 64, of Big Prairie, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022 at Wooster Community Hospital after a brief illness.

Brenda was born on May 21, 1958 in Weston, WV to Elton Roy and Wavelene (Blake) Cowger and was a 1977 graduate of Waynedale High School.  She had made her home near Big Prairie for many years and was a member of the Wooster American Legion.  Brenda enjoyed fishing and morel mushroom hunting.  She loved her animals and she loved spending time with family and friends.

Surviving is her mother, Wavelene Cowger of Apple Creek; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Brenda Cowger of Wooster; her sister, Lula Cowger of Wooster and niece, nephews, great-niece and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elton in 2005.

Services will be Sunday, Dec. 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with Pastor Donna Stallings officiating.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of services on Sunday.  Graveside services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Apple Creek Cemetery.
