Bradley Kyle Formhals, 29, of Medina, passed away too soon from an unexpected seizure on December 22, 2023. He was born in Medina, Ohio, to Brian and Jennifer (Evans) Formhals on January 29, 1994. He graduated from Norwayne High School in 2012, then served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2012 to 2016 where he achieved the rank of Lance Corporal. He was most recently employed at Automation Tool & Die in Valley City. Along with his parents, Bradley is survived by his children Godric (8) and Lilliane (7) Formhals, their mother, Kandis Grasser (Wooster), his brothers, Alex Formhals (Creston), Scott Formhals (Fairport Harbor), and his grandmother Sharon Formhals (Austintown) and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, with special closeness to Kendal Maibach. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Faye Kocher, who affectionately knew him as "GG", and special friend, Nick Kocher. Brad enjoyed camping, nature, gaming, family, and was proud to be a US Marine. He had his Mother's love of snacking on chocolate chips and he gave the best hugs. Brad will be remembered by his sweet smile and loving personality. Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents, Donal & Judith Evans (Medina) and his paternal grandfather, Roger Formhals (Austintown), along with an uncle, Jay Shook, and two cousins, JR Shook and Elijah Formhals. Family will receive friends Monday, January 1, 2024, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at The Medina Church of God, 6745 Wooster Pike, Medina, Ohio 44256. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mike Miller officiating. Full military honor burial will be at 12:15, at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
