Bill Napier

Bill Napier, 90, of Burbank, passed away on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster after a period of declining health.

Bill was born on Feb. 21, 1936, in Delbarton, WV to Brady and Blanche (Thompson) Napier and married Patricia Lou Maynard on July 9, 1960. Patricia preceded him in death on Sept. 22, 1991. Bill retired from the PCA in Rittman after 47 ½ years of service and had made his home in Burbank since 1967. He was a member of the Medina County Coon Hunters Assoc. and enjoyed coon hunting with his dogs and mowing his yard.

Surviving are his two children, Alana (Ken) Dohner of Winnie, TX and William Timothy (Laura) Napier of Burbank; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a brother, Bobby Napier of Burbank.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his parents and brothers, Donald, Robert, Richard and 2 infant brothers.

Friends may call Monday, Oct. 12th from 5-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Morris Funeral Home in Wayne, WV where friends will be received from 12:00 noon until time of services. Burial will be in the Maynard Cemetery.
