Betty Mae Morrison

Betty M. Morrison, 74, of Millersburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021 at LifeCare Hospice.

Betty was born on Jan. 12, 1947 in Millersburg to the late Melvin C. and Deloris (McCurdy) Foster and was raised in Fredericksburg.  She married Billy Dell Watkins who preceded her in death on June 23, 1966 and later married Clifton James Morrison on July 29, 1967.  Jim preceded her in death on May 22, 2009.  Betty had worked at Rubbermaid, Inc. for 22 years and had made her home in Millersburg for the past 44 years.  A member of Fredericksburg Church of Christ, she loved reading, traveling, and her beloved dogs and in her younger years she enjoyed snow skiing.

Surviving are her children, Billy Watkins of Millersburg, Roxanna (Darryl) Harris of Richmond Hill, GA, Terri Morrison of Navarre and Sonja Morrison of Millersburg; grandchildren, Amber Leady, Autumn Shedron, Beverly Hipp, Colton Hipp, Jacob Morrison, Hannah Watkins and Caleb Colter and 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with Pastor Josh Ware officiating.  Burial will be in the Fredericksburg West Cemetery.  Friends may call Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
