Betty Lou (Mayberry) Howell

Betty Lou Howell, 88, of Wooster, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Akron City Hospital after a period of declining health.

Betty was born on May 24, 1935 in Barnesville to Clyde T. and Bessie (Kirkbride) Mayberry and attended Rittman High School.  She had worked at the PCA in Rittman and later at Rexroth in Wooster where she retired in 2000.  Betty enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and flower gardening and was an avid reader.

Surviving are her children, Connie Brannon of Jacksonville, NC, Cindy Brewer of Ashland, OH, Cris (Mike) Millican of Texas, Donald Howell of the Philippines and Mark Howell of Cedar Point, NC; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Johnson of Rittman and Lucy Dean of Creston and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clyde Mayberry, Jr.

Family services will be held on Tuesday, April 9th with burial in Rittman Cemetery.  Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
