Bernadine I. Greene

Bernadine I. Greene, 81, of Medina passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Bernadine was born on December 4, 1944, in Webster County, WV to Earl and Lina (Woods) Green. She moved from West Virginia to Ohio at a young age to work and support her family. She had worked at Dog-n-Suds, Blazon, American Safety, Pro-Arts, and had retired from Plasti-Kote in Medina. Bernadine loved to decorate, grow flowers, go to classic car shows, fall foliage tours, candlelight walks, and parades. Her greatest joy and love was spending time with family and being able to host family dinner nights with her famous chicken and noodles. She will be remembered as playful, fiercely independent, and a loving mother.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Anthony DiDonato of Gatlinburg, TN; grandchildren, Christina, Antoinette, and Vinnie; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Riley, Ryder, Hank, and Archie; her best friend and sister, Lucy (Ray) Kilgore of Seville; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Edward (Connie) Green, Roy “Sunny” Green, William Green, Bradley (Karen) Green, Helen Wilt, Lucille Tenney, Monabell Green, and Bonnie Terry.

Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with services immediately following at 4:00 p.m.
