Beatrice Kathleen Mazey

Beatrice K. Mazey, 92, of Norton, died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Barberton Summa Hospital after a period of declining health.

Bea was born Nov. 8, 1924 in Rowsburg in Ashland County to the late Ray and Ruth (Lindsey) Uhler and married Steve Mazey on Oct. 6, 1945. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2004. She was a 1942 graduate of Creston High School and had made her home in the Norton area for the past 70 years.

Surviving are her sons, Keith Mazey of Norton and Gary Mazey of Punta Gorda, FL; a grandson, Gavin Mazey; a brother, John (Joan) Uhler of Phoenix; a sister-in-law, Georgia Uhler of Creston and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Dennis and brothers, Robert, Forrest, Buford, Ray, Maynard and Roger Uhler.

Services will be Thursday, April 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. until time of services. Interment will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
