Barbara M. Nisley

Barbara M. Nisley, 70, of 8020 East Moreland Rd., Fredericksburg, Ohio died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Maysville on Sept. 23, 1952 to Mose J. and Susie (Yoder) Nisley and was a member of the New Order Amish.

Surviving are her 2 sisters and 5 brothers, Katie Nisley and William Nisley of the Home, Jonas and Susie Nisley of Loudonville., Elizabeth (the late William) Schmucker of Fredericksburg, Abner and Barbara Nisley of Fredericksburg, Eli and Malinda Nisley of Holmesville and Mose (the late Fannie) Nisley Jr. of  Fredericksburg; sister-in-law, Sarah (the late Roy) Nisley of Apple Creek and 37 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, David and Roy; a sister, Sarah, brother-in-law, William Schmucker, sister-in-law, Fannie Nisley, two nephews, Levi M. Nisley and William R. Nisley and a niece, Rebecca J. Nisley.

Services will be Saturday, Feb. 18th at 9:00 a.m. at the residence with Bishop Enos C. Miller officiating.  Burial will be in Troyer Cemetery at Fredericksburg and pallbearers will be, Samuel Yoder, Michael Hostetler, Daniel Troyer and Joe Miller.  Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and anytime of Friday.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
