Ashley Renee (Scoggins) Bailey

Ashley Renee Bailey, 37, of Wooster, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025 at Wooster community Hospital.  She had been battling with ALS for the past several years.

Ashley was born in Cleveland on Aug. 20, 1987 and graduated from Brunswick High School.  She had made her home in Wooster since 2016 and loved being a mother and spending time with her family.  She enjoyed playing games on her phone, riding on the back of Steve’s motorcycle and watching the birds. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving is her husband, Steven Bailey; daughters, Mallory and Ruby; her mother, Sandra Scoggins; father and step-mother, Bill and Nancy Scoggins, brother Ryan (James) Scoggins; sister, Miranda Scoggins and aunts, uncles and cousins including special aunt, Donna Dudsak.

There will be a celebration of Ashley’s life in June with details to be announced later.
