Asenith Kaye “Tina” Cross, 69, of Rittman, went home to her final reward on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at Chapel Hill Home in Canal Fulton after a lengthy illness.
Tina was born Dec. 20, 1948 in Wadsworth to Roy Franklin and Velma (Blair) Romans and married Richard D. Cross on Dec. 18, 1971. He survives. She had made her home in Rittman most of her life and had operated several home businesses over the years. She was an active member of the South Main St. Church of God and she and her husband had previously been worship leaders at the West Salem Church of God. Tina enjoyed singing and touring with the Friends of Jesus and with the Cross Family and loved butterflies and the color purple.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Richard of the Chapel Hill Home, children, Patrick (Mary) Cross of Deland, FL, Kami (Mike) Root of Rittman, Lori (Jack) Lyons of New Franklin, Jamie (Patty) Fryberger of Navarre and Jason (Dawn) Cross of Seville; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Brett Fryberger and a sister, Sandra Steiner.
Services will be Saturday, Jan. 27that 10:45 a.m. at the Chapel Hill Home, 12200 Strausser St., NW, Canal Fulton with her son, Rev. James Fryberger officiating. Burial will be in Rittman Cemetery.
