Arnold Ray Kyer

Arnold Ray Kyer, 86, of Rittman, OH and formerly of Reedy, WV, passed away on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022 after a period of declining health.

Arnold was born on Oct. 10, 1935 in Bear Fork at Sandy Ridge in Calhoun County to the late Saulie and Myrrer (Marks) Kyer.  He retired from Monarch Rubber in Spencer and had made his home in Reedy prior to moving to Rittman four years ago.  He had attended the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and he enjoyed singing and playing his guitar.

He will be missed by his 3 children, Sharon (Jesse) Wiles of Rittman, Eddie (Kyra) Kyer of Rittman and Patricia Kyer of Indore, WV; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; surviving brothers and sisters, Grant Kyer and Calvin Kyer of Elizabeth, WV, Russel Kyer of Millersburg, OH, Alvin Kyer of Parkersburg, WV, Pearl Blake and Ruby Burkhimer of Akron and Julie Fields of Aplin Ridge, WV and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maciel and brothers and sisters, Stanley, Denver, Arthur, Arden, Virgil, Bertha, Earsley, Iva, and Louise.

Graveside services will be Friday, Sept. 16th at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery near Reedy with his nephews, Robert Kyer officiating.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
