Anthony Roy (Tony) Baird

Anthony Roy “Tony” Baird, 29, of Holmesville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 1, 2024.

Tony was born on June 2, 1994 in Akron to David Andrew and Lois Ruth (Byers) Baird and was a 2013 graduate of Waynedale High School. He had worked at the Holmes County Training Center  and was an avid sports enthusiast and a devoted fan of Country Music. Through Social Media, Tony connected with friends across the US and even in other countries.  His kindness, compassion, sense of humor and warm presence will be profoundly missed.

Surviving are his parents, Dave and Lois; 3 brothers, RJ Leaman, Drew Baird and Aaron Baird; a nephew, Scotty Leaman and several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends.

Services will be Friday, April 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg where friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.  Burial will be in Fredericksburg East Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Murray Funeral Home, PO Box 183, Fredericksburg, OH 44627 to help with Tony’s final expenses.
