Anthony Joseph Blatnik

Anthony Joseph “Tony” Blatnik, 78, of Creston, died peacefully at home on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022.

Tony was born on Oct. 24, 1944 in Glen Campbell, PA to Joseph A. and Josephine (Gauh) Blatnik.  He served in the U.S. Navy from July 31, 1962 – Feb. 23, 1966 and according to his family and friends, Tony never left the United States Navy.

A member of AA, he was proud of his 25 years of sobriety and he was always helping others through the 12 step program.  Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching TV.

Surviving is his children, Joseph (Nina) Blatnik of Rossford, OH and Sandra Rhoades of Waterville, OH; 3 grandchildren, brothers, Danny Blatnik and Ed Blatnik; sisters, Patricia Miller, Kathy Beebe, Mary Lou Blatnik-Smith and Elaine Repede and his many AA Friends.

Services will be held on March 24th at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
